I think this should be banned. If people want to call people names and tell them they wish they were dead, that can be done in private. Not on a message board here, not in public quick notes. It's just wrong and has to stop. If this doesn't happen, I think people should be allowed to cancel their accounts. On other sites, there is a button to completely delete account and all information. It's not right that accounts stay on here when people don't want to be. I'm sick of the way people get treated here, and I'm one of them that has been told to just go die. Thank you.
You can ask to have your account disabled, but the ID number will still show up on the list of users, I think.

I think treating people like crap happens not just here, but everywhere. I think that people should have a way to disable their accounts or something like that. I like this topic because it shows people to treat others the way you would want to be treated.
Oh my Jesus. Get over it already. I don't see why it's really necessary to have the option of disabling your account--if you never intend to come back to this site and you're so sure that you want to disable your account, it should be the easiest thing in the world to just stop logging in. As for people being banned for treating people like crap ... um, grow up? The CL's can't be expected to look into and deal with every single problem that arises between users, especially when it's a problem that could very easily be dealt with without their help. Use that pretty little ignore link, find a bit more to do with your time than support this wonderful country for nothing, and for God's sake stop posting topic after topic to bitch about exactly the same thing.

I completely agree with you pipi. Post number 1 I think is just way too one sided. It's ok for her to not be so nice and annoy the living hell out of people but when people stand up to her and put her in her place it's the worst thing in the world to her. So my suggestion is that you ask for your $25 back from buying a premium membership and never return.

and, one of the zone rules are that accounts will not be deleted, but if you no longer want your information displayed, just go to edit profile and delete everything.

I also want to make another point. To me, to say that you just have to accept people treating each other like crap is kind of like saying, "Well, the world is just cold and cruel and sick and sad, so it's just better to be just as bad as the world is."
